Corey Proffitt Studios Massage, Lexington

I had my first massage with Corey and it exceeded all expectations. Corey was extremely friendly and courteous from start to finish. The office and the room were clean, smelled nice, and were set to be very relaxing through their decoration, lighting, and music . Corey’s techniques were exceptional, I really like that he blends traditional massage techniques with various new technologies and tools to maximize the effectiveness of the massage treatment. It was one of, if not the, best service experience I have ever had. I will be a repeat customer moving forward and will be recommending Corey to my friends and family.

AMENDMENT: Immediately after my review, Corey Proffitt (the owner) called me 2X, texted me, and emailed me about my experience. I didn’t respond so, he called me again the next morning. He couldn’t have been more gracious and concerned. He refunded my money, extended an incentive, and even gave me his personal cell. I’m dumbfounded by his immediate customer service! Very impressive! Corey is a man of integrity who stands behind his work. I highly recommend Corey Proffitt Massage. Scheduled a 1-hour massage. Lady told me to arrive 15’ early to talk to the massage therapist (West). I did that but conversation didn’t occur until my appointment time. It took 15’. So my actual massage was only 45’. I’ve had many massages over the years but this is the 1st time I’ve been shorted on massage time. I informed West I was disappointed and why. Told him I would not return. It was $100 for a 45’ massage. I can’t recommend this place.

I work Monday through Friday so it's difficult to make appointments for self care on the weekends. I was able to make an appointment on Saturday. West was very respectful and knowledgeable. It was my first hot stone massage experience and I'll definitely do it again. I can't wait for my next booking

I cannot say enough good things about Corey and Corey Proffitt Studios. Corey is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and talented, all of which come through in his personality, massage sessions, and the studio space. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, and I left my massage feeling lighter, more balanced, centered, and relaxed than I have felt in a very long time. I greatly appreciated the attention to detail and customized treatment approach. I’ve had the honor to receive massages from both Corey and Kathy, and having received massages from numerous other locations, I confidently say the providers here are the best. Going to see them is well worth the investment!

Michal was extremely professional and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire service. She made sure to ask about her pressure everytime she switched areas. It was my very first professional massage and I enjoyed it immensely. I will be back on a consistent basis to see her. Also the ambiance and the actual suite was so nice and clean.

Highly recommend! West was a wonderful masseuse who asked thoughtful questions & was clearly very skilled in his profession. He was very communicative & made sure my comfort was top priority! Would absolutely go back- I highly recommend their services!

Fantastic experience with Michal! She's got strong hands, checks in to make sure the pressure isn't too light or too deep, and follows the client's lead when it comes to conversation. I've been here several times and each session did not dissapoint. Today I went with Kathy and she was amazing! Very attentive to your needs and very sweet, she didn't rush and even showed me some stretches. Hope to be back soon!

West was Amazing! He did a wonderful job, especially with the consultation part of it trying to figure out what my issues were and where I needed the most work. Was very knowledgeable with how the body works. He talk to me through it every step of the way. I would highly recommend anyone to go see him. He did a phenomenon job.

I went here for the first time today and Kathy was amazing. I went in for a particular area and she found tension i didn't even know I had. I am truly a mellow fellow now, lol. I am new to the area and do not like chain, assembly line massage places and Corey Proffit was perfect. Small, cozy, personal and professional. I will certainly be a regular.

I wish I could rate higher because Corey deserves 6 stars. This was by far the best massage I've ever had. Corey gave the most relaxing and attentive massage. He also has some gadgets that really made me feel like a new person. I walked out pain free for the first time in months. I can't recommend him or anyone at this studio enough. There's a reason they're booked up. I cannot wait until my next visit.

Whether this would be your first therapeutic massage or a service you have done often in the past, I highly recommend going to Michal for your therapeutic massage for many reasons. First, Michal is very professional, yet also personable, and starts every session with asking how things are going in your day-to-day life and also how you’re feeling physically. She then discusses with you what you are hoping to get out of the session and what potential problem areas there are that either need to be addressed or should be left alone. With her, again, communication is very important. Michal’s technique is also very effective. She will work with you to apply appropriate amounts of pressure where needed and focus on problem areas. She has done amazing work with me, helping to reduce discomfort in my lower back and working on tightness in my neck and shoulders, which is a constant issue for me with stresses of day-to-day life and my exercise regimen. I cannot recommend Michal enough and very much appreciate all that she does to improve my well being.

I live out of town and needed a deep tissue massage while traveling. I came across Corey Proffitt Studios, and I can confidently say I have never been treated with better customer service from any business. Every staff member treated me like a loyal customer of 10 years, even though they knew I lived out of town and they may never see me in the studio again. Small businesses and entrepreneurs like this are the backbone of our economy, and I highly recommend trying Corey and his team.

The only place to be 😊 I have 10yrs in searching for a great massage therapist, someone who can feel what I need and educate me too, I can say with confidence I’ve finally found my home! I have had chiropractic therapy, acupuncture, dry needling therapy among seeing a message therapist regularly and nothing compared to my ONE visit at Corey’s place! I recommend the heated stones with mayofascial release, it was a game changer. I met Corey himself and what a sweet warm soul he is, I can’t say enough great things about my experience. Just try it, you will be ”mad” you didn’t sooner 😌

Kara was amazing! She’s so professional and talented. I’ve been suffering from TMJ for a while. She gave me immediate relief!!! I’ll definitely go back to her! If you’re struggling with TMJ symptoms I definitely recommend her 100%.

Michal has been my LMT for 4 months. The results are palpable. She is personable and communicative, and tends to varying needs with strength and care.
